hi, my name is michael, i'm a 19 year old student. this is my website for showcasing my artwork and anything creative i do. i am attending binghamton university, majoring in computer engineering, and will graduate in 2029.
a few years ago i always had curiosities about what real camera photography would be like after only experimenting with taking pictures on my phone. after being given a camera, i found great passion in the art and grew from there.
i taught myself a lot by art just by being curious and trying to make the things i like.
i use a sony ɑ7 iii for the bulk part of my work, but i also like using whatever i can find. i also shoot with a sony a350 from time to time. you'd be surprised with just how well older/weird devices can take photos.
my main lenses:
sony fe 24-105 f/4 g oss
samyang af 1.8/35mm
helios 44-2'
i feel it's important for you to see that there's a human with real passion behind my name, which is why i include this website on many of my academic/professional profiles.

my hobbies tend to have a part in changing what i do creatively. i like a lot of techy things, but they too can be used or viewed artistically. whatever i'm learning about at a given time may change the type of art i do.
i'm not really inspired by any direct sources for a lot of my stuff. i know in my own mind what looks good to me and i try to pursue that to the best of my ability. creating should be about what you want.
it's important to keep at art, even if you feel what you're making isn't perfect or it's taking you a lot of time. i've always felt that even if i feel the art i'm producing is suboptimal, keeping at making things will eventually lead to a result i'll be proud of. it's also okay to take breaks and relapse on work.
the creative process takes time and human effort is incredibly valid nowadays.
i would really like to find myself using my engineering degree to bring good to this world. technology is very powerful and i'm very passionate about all sorts of engineering topics, ranging anywhere from transportation to radio protocols. i hope my creative and curious outlook on this world can create awesome and useful things.
